We hope you enjoyed a restorative holiday season with friends and family. Our team is returning to work energized and inspired for a busy year ahead and we look forward to sharing our progress throughout the year with you.
The picture above was taken from the Makah Tribe reservation, located on the spectacular Neah Bay, Washington. Spark Northwest worked with the Makah Tribe to apply for and receive technical clean energy guidance from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Transitions Initiative Partnership Project last year. We are excited to see how the Tribe moves forward with their clean energy journey.
Energy Ambassador Advocacy
We are kicking off the new year by co-leading a coalition of community and advocacy partners to recommend a new Energy AmbassadorProgram to Washington lawmakers. The coalition’s goal is to ensure that highly impacted communities know about and can access the benefits of clean energy and are included in the burgeoning green economy.
Sign up here for our monthly newsletters and opt in for our policy updates. You can expect to stay informed about all Spark Northwest policy advocacy during this year’s short legislative session in Washington.
We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped us meet the Ren Che Foundation match. We did it! It means the world to us to have your support as we work towards a more equitable clean energy future. Thank you very much.
