Leah is a founding partner of Allied8 Architects, a generalist firm with a strong focus on housing innovation, housing justice and policy. For decades Allied8 had been active advisors/architects to developers and in 2019, Leah created a development arm at Allied8 with the purpose of solving big policy problems with small-scale projects that are replicable. Leah is a regular design studio critic and has been a lecturer at the University of Washington School of Architecture. She is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the Northwest Eco Building Guild, Seattle Chapters. She has maintained her WA State architectural license since 2003.
