Elaine joined Spark Northwest to support the finance team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in food engineering from the University of Campinas, in Brazil. Before discovering her interest in accounting, she worked in the area of food production and food safety & quality assurance. Her first contact with accounting was through a volunteer opportunity with a nonprofit that bridges the tech business communities of Silicon Valley & Brazil. She is currently pursuing her AA degree in Accounting with Bellevue College. Outside of work, Elaine spends her time taking care of her family and their dog, studying, volunteering, and enjoying the outdoors. You may bump into her if you visit the Issaquah area, where she does most of her shopping and outings with her family and friends.
