We’re thrilled to be a part of the Community Resilience Hubs campaign led by many organizations, including Unite Oregon, Oregon Just Transition Alliance, Rogue Climate, Adelante Mujeres, Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon, Oregon Food Bank – and us! The campaign is seeking to pass a bill that would help communities across the state plan and build centralized resource centers and networks to keep folks safe and healthy before, during and after extreme weather events.
We’ve also joined the “Building Resilience” coalition, which is pushing for a comprehensive policy package to ensure that every Oregonian gets to live, work, and play in cozy and climate-safe buildings with all-electric heating and cooling.
Keep a lookout for additional information in the coming months.
