Conservation and Efficiency

CFL-NEWSpark Northwest recognizes that energy conservation and efficiency are presently the most powerful tools in our transition to a clean energy future.  In all of our projects we strongly encourage communities to first evaluate energy efficiency solutions before considering generation through renewable energy technologies.

A critical component to implementing successful projects is community awareness, interest and capacity to undertake energy efficiency and conservation initiatives. We build this capacity by equipping communities with the tools needed to conduct energy planning, implement energy-saving measures, and organizing community members through strategically directed action campaigns.
