Rural Energy Assistance

Spark Northwest works with partners in Oregon and Washington to support renewable energy and efficiency upgrades in rural communities.

If you are a rural small business or an agricultural producer, we may be able to help you:

  1. Learn about options for energy efficiency and renewable energy;
  2. Evaluate the costs and benefits of using energy efficiency and renewable energy for business and farming operations; and
  3. Apply for grants from state and federal programs to pay for a portion of the installation.

Are you eligible for our assistance?

  • To qualify as an agricultural producer: Must receive 50% or more of gross income from agricultural operations.
  • To qualify as a rural small business: Must meet industry-specific standards established by the Small Business Association and be located outside metropolitan areas of 50,000 people.

If you want help with a potential renewable energy or energy efficiency project, please fill out an Intake Form to tell us about your project! Para español haga clic aquí.
