Energize combines education with incentives to spread efficient heating and cooling in rural and marginalized communities. We have helped folks boost energy efficiency, lower utility bills, add air conditioning, and reduce indoor air pollution. With outreach targeted to manufactured housing, veterans, seniors, renters and Tribes, we ensure that Energize reaches those who need it most.

Program impacts since 2016:

Our campaigns convene conversations and strengthen bonds between community-based service providers, workforce development agencies, Tribes, utilities, low income weatherization providers, and non-profit financial institutions. These collaborative relationships are more important than ever as rural communities confront the challenges of a changing climate, a loss of good jobs, and the lingering impact of underinvestment in infrastructure.

Currently, we are running an Energize campaign in Oregon’s South Coast. Learn more on the Energize South Coast website. We are also partnering on an Energize campaign for Whatcom County rural businesses. Learn more on the Sustainable Connections website.
