Spark Northwest staff are on the move this spring, supporting local communities in building clean energy, leading workshops, and traveling to remote parts of the Northwest to meet with partners. See below for snapshots from the field, including a great story about how the Lopez Island School District is moving forward with new rooftop solar. Our policy work was also featured in a new article from Heatmap about how Washington renters won rights to install air conditioning this year. With rising temperatures and future heat domes across the Northwest anticipated, this is an issue bringing energy, health, and housing justice advocates together to solve a complex problem. Spark Northwest is also hiring a new Communications and Development Manager—help us spread the word!
