The new year brings new opportunities to influence state policy, with both Oregon and Washington’s 2023 legislative sessions beginning this month. We are rolling up our sleeves and getting to work on advocating for a just transition to clean energy. Please read on to learn about our top legislative priorities for 2023. Legislative Priorities for 2023

There is momentum to quickly accelerate the clean energy transition. But barriers for groups with less infrastructure and resources are real and not going away. We focus our policy advocacy to ensure clean energy benefits reach BIPOC, rural and low-wealth communities.

Expanding net metering, energy resiliency hubs and funding for home electrification are our policy priorities this year.
