Spark Northwest helps agricultural producers and rural small businesses harvest the benefits of renewable energy. We offer consultations, feasibility studies, and grant writing support services.

Solarize

Solarize is a community-driven, neighborhood group purchase campaign. Participants attend solar workshops and are assisted through the solar purchase process.

Community Development

Spark Northwest assists communities, tribes, and local governments plan and execute clean energy projects. Whether it is a community solar array or planning for future wind projects, Spark Northwest is there to help guide the process.

Energy Efficiency

Energize replicates our Solarize program model, pairing education about energy-efficient home heating systems, ductless heat pumps (DHP), with a group purchase. Participants attend Energize workshops and are assisted through the DHP purchase process.

Policy

Our policy work is informed by our on-the-ground community energy projects. We prioritize protecting customer rights to generate and use their own clean energy in Oregon and Washington, with a special emphasis on ensuring equitable access to clean energy.

Education

Spark Northwest provides workshops, publications, and web tools that help communities pursue clean energy projects. Our materials cover energy conservation, efficiency, renewables, community organizing, financing, resource assessment, and more.
