Spark Northwest is proud to play a unique role in the Pacific Northwest—working directly with underserved communities to design, plan, and build clean energy solutions.
We won’t lie—it’s a challenging and turbulent time. Making an equitable transition to clean energy was never going to be easy. But it is possible—and it’s happening in communities large and small everyday.
We know that people in rural areas frequently experience higher energy uncertainty, more power outages, and fewer safety net resources due to geographic isolation. We also know, after more than twenty years, how to help them meet these challenges head on.
In 2024 alone, we assisted seven tribes and 25 rural small businesses advance their solar energy and energy efficiency goals. Each of these communities is now one step closer to reliable, efficient and affordable clean energy.
We know that when communities are listened to, empowered, and supported they rise to the challenge of creating the energy future we all need for a thriving world.
