Dear *|FNAME|*,
Kwong Li has built a life of service in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood. For the past two decades, he has run an adult family home—offering safety, comfort, and dignity to seniors and disabled community members.
But as summers grow hotter, the home has struggled to stay cool. A single portable AC unit couldn’t keep up, putting residents—many of whom are especially vulnerable to extreme heat—at serious risk.
That changes this month.
Thanks to the King County Energize Program and Spark Northwest, this 12-resident home is getting a brand-new electric heat pump system and weatherization upgrades. This high-efficiency system will provide both cooling and heating, filter out wildfire smoke, and help ensure everyone inside stays healthy—no matter the weather outside.
This is what climate justice looks like: local, life-changing, and within reach—when we work together.
At Spark Northwest, we’re honored to help shape programs like this by coordinating with installers, community leaders, and public partners. And with your help, we can keep supporting thousands more households across our region transition to cleaner homes.
GiveBig starts TODAY and your gift will be matched up to $7,500 by a generous donor—doubling your impact for families like Kwong’s.
