New Year, New Collaborations

We’ve had a great start to the new year. In January we kicked off Energize Olympia, a heat pump education and installation campaign in partnership with the City of Olympia and South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity. Olympia residents will have opportunities to learn about heat pumps, available incentives, and how to purchase a discounted heat pump system. South Puget Sound Habitat for Humanity will also provide critical home repair and weatherization services in coordination with heat pump installations for low-income residents.

This February we had the opportunity to work with an awesome group of University of Washington students from UW EarthLab. They used their research and graphic skills to help Spark Northwest to tell the tangible story of what we do. We’re always appreciative of opportunities to partner with others!

Advocacy Update

The Legislative season is off to an exciting start. Spark Northwest is promoting a bill to expand access to rooftop solar in Washington that has gained bipartisan support. We’re also advocating for an innovative community resilience hub bill in Oregon.
