Local Energy. Collective Power.

For nearly twenty-five years, Spark Northwest has partnered with hundreds of immigrant, low-wealth, rural and Indigenous communities, customizing our engagement to meet people where they are, adapting to incorporate local wisdom and co-designing effective solutions. We have facilitated the installation of over two megawatts of clean energy for community partners, catalyzing $42 million in locally-owned clean energy investments. These installations have directly prevented over 13 million pounds of carbon emissions annually, while inspiring others to move boldly towards a just transition.

2025 Impact

Our broad goals are to advance clean energy programs that: (1) build capability and capacity, (2) reduce energy burdens, and (3) strive towards energy democracy.

See how those goals played out with our programs during the past year.
